Introduced for the 2015 model year on the second generation Tacoma, the TRD Pro is the most extreme version of the Tacoma available from the factory. The third generation Tacoma TRD Pro features Fox dual-reservoir shocks, a locking rear differential, a TRD exhaust, and all-terrain tires. It also came equipped with a model-specific leather upholstery with red stitching as well as unique exterior badging.
Power comes from a 3.5-liter V6, rated at 278 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
